It adds a 60GB hard drive and has 3 CCDs. The affordable SDR-S7 with 10x zoom. The VDR-D50 has a 42x optical zoom and optical image stabilization.

Panasonic Consumer Electronics President, Shiro Kitajima, has taken the stage. The VIERA lineup will be enhanced for 2008. Worldwide Panasonic displays are aligned with the VIERA sub-brand. VIERA link will allow a user to control the entire home HD system with a single remote. It will allow you to play back photos on the VIERA sets via SD cards.

Panasonic sold the first HDTV in the US in August 1998 and now they plan to lead the US with the analog to digital conversion. Panasonic has also spent the last year with a marketing campaign called “Living in High Definition,“ which is in 17 households around the country and plans to be to 100 household in 2008.

Additionally, Panasonic is a Worldwide Olympic partner in the audio and video category. VIERA will be the official TV of the games and the Panasonic HD camcorders will be the official supplier for the games.
