Monster has also announced a partnership with Moxi—as in the Moxi-box that is so near and dear to our DVR hearts. Look out for products from the two companies in the near future. Mary J. Blige is performing here on Tuesday.
They’re also introducing Monster Outlets to Go 3 + USB Power Strip, which recharges electronics over USB. They’re also launching a bunch of new iPod and iPhone accessories. iCarPlay, etc. We’ll get those releases posted later.
What’s new in Monster Power? They’re introducing a new Power Center that is PLC friendly—transmits computer data over power lines.
They’re also going to be introducing Screen Clean… looks like everyone’s peacing out of the room to head to Bill Gates Keynote which starts in 30 minutes.

He welcomes his son Kevin Lee to the stage again to introduce a product for “the younger generation”.
He reminisces the days when we used to try to “recreate the live music event.“
“Is that all for Monster… you think that’s all? At the show, we’re introducing the M1000HD cable which is 14.9 Gbps. Now we have completed our HDMI story—5 different speeds. THE NEED FOR SPEED”
They’re going to offer every customer that buys a Monster HDMI cable an HD tutorial DVD, and Walt Disney will offer each Monster HDMI cable customer a free DVD of their choice.
We’re going to educate the customer together. Monster has just announced that they’re partnering up with “a little company”, according to CEO Noel Lee—that little company is Disney.
We’re live here at the Monster Cable press conference, and the show start out with the CEO (err “Head Monster”) rolling up on stage on his Segway - just like last year.




So, the major announcement from Monster and interscope has to do with headphones? that’s it? no mp3 distribution platform?
