Acoustic Research - Wireless Music Remote streams high fidelity audio through a wireless system up to 100 feet away.  They’re also launching Digital Antennas to account for the NEED to switch to digital - for the upcoming analog cut-off.

HDMI-PLC will allow HDMI over the power-line.  Now they’re discussing Z-Wave—The iPod Wrielss TouchBase dock allows wireless streaming to speakers and other devices throughout the house.  Geise is discussing the energy efficiencies built-into the Z-Wave products for Home Networking.  You can manage the power in your house virtually over the internet.  He briefly discussed the WiMax Femtocell Antenna & Replicator, and some High performance headphones that have 5.1 Surround Sound through earbuds.

Here at CES, they’re discussing their HD PLC - Power-Line adapters and what not.  To turn their home outlets into a built in network over power lines.  They’re launching a 4 port router that leverages Power-Line networking.  They are even talking about media servers that will use HD PLC.

Programmable Digital Adaptor is being talked about which is in a way standardizing XM.  With a mini tuner, this module he’s discussing, and you can then just plug it into your stereo.

They sell 50-60% of XM hardware sold in the aftermarket, according to Malone.  They’re launching the Portable Sound System, mode NMB1 which is a $99 XM Radio.  Compact Sound System is also being launched.

They’re also launching a “do it yourself” headset kit.  “It will fit every single headret’s holes”.  They can be taken out easily and moved to a new car.  $699—I’m not even going to try typing up that product number.

With the Jensen brand, they’re launching a wireless backup system for your car—so you don’t hit the little kiddies.  Custom Headrest DVD System has a 7” Touch Screen.  They’ve upgraded the headset to be full-touchscreen.  Sounds like a good design.  There’s a DVD slot, and an SD card slot.  Launching—“very shortly”.

Digital Picture frame: With the Digital Message Center and Picture Frame, they built in a whiteboard for leaving messages for your family, and you can even write on the screen.  It also has a calendar built in.  They also made the screen replaceable in case the screen gets scratched up.  2 systems—7” with Audio, and another.

Regarding Small Wonder digital video camcorders—they’re releasing the Small Wonder Traveler, 2GB memory card includd.  8 hours record time, 1 hour continuous playback… $149.  Small Wonder Pocket - 1GB memory card included, MicroSD slot, 1.5” color LCD screen.  $99 for this guy.  It’s compact.  Model EZ305.

The cool thing about these Lyra products he’s talking about is that the software auto-loads on the user’s PC, no CD required.  The players also have a new interface.

He speaks of their CES Innovation awards.  RCA - They’re announcing their LYRA 6008.  8 gig flash with audio/video, all the audio formats, FM Radio with record function, voice record, video capture, nav wheel—iPod-esque.
