The SD990 IS will be available in black or silver design in an ultra-compact form factor. In addition the, Canon is also releasing a red limited edition of the SD990 IS in commemoration of the 100 millionth PowerShot camera manufactured by Canon.

Meanwhile, the PowerShot SD880 IS is also a power-packed point-and-shoot featuring a 10.0 megapixel resolution and 4x wide-angle optical zoom with optical image stabilization plus the DIGIC 4 image processing features similar to that of the SD990 IS. The SD880 IS will have two-toned body colors in either black and silver or gold and brown.
