Callpod intro’s the Phoenix, a Bluetooth conferencing device

Callpod has announced the Phoenix, a device that will allow up to 5 Bluetooth headsets along with a cell phone or Skype to engage in a conference call. The Phoenix will, according to Callpod work over a 300,000+ square foot range when used with their Dragon headset.

The Phoenix offers push-to-talk when using Dragon Headsets, full-duplex conference calling with no voice cancellation and is also compatible with other Bluetooth headsets, phones and computers. The Phoenix has up to 10 hours of battery life and has a simple two button operation, one button will pair the device and one button will turn it off and on.

No pricing has been announced for the Phoenix, currently it is un-available however you can pre-register and receive a “priority shipment” when it becomes available.
