Blackberry users suffer outage

RIMStarting at around 8pm EST on April 17th RIM’s Blackberry servers went down, causing trouble, aggravation and withdrawal systems to many Blackberry users across North America. Although the issue’s seem to have been fixed, there are still some recent complaints over on Blackberry Forums. I am sure there were many upset Blackberry users and RIM had this great advise to offer.

RIM officials advised people who use Blackberry as a major way of communications to make back-up plans.

I guess in all seriousness if you truly depend on any wireless service you should have a backup in place. I am hopeful there will not be any further trouble this morning from any backlog of messages being sent. Most likely a good thing this happened at night, hopefully that minimized this issue.
