Best Buy to Sell AppleWhen the Apple iPhone first hit the market, it was very buy it, not only because of everyone in America wanting one, but because only you need Cingular/ATT or Apple store to get one. Let’s not forget many people having to switch over to Cingular/ATT from your current cell phone provider to be able to use the iPhone. However, in the next month or so, Best Buy plans to beef up their offering of Apple products including the iPhone. Thu, being able to obtain an iPhone will be that much easier.

Best Buy also plans to increase the number of their stores that sell Apple products, such as Macs, to 300 by the end of this year. When everything is said and done, Best Buy plans to sell 80% more Apple products than it previously had been selling. The Best Buy stores that plan to sell Apple products will make a new display area specifically designed for Apple to encourage customers to buy Apple merchandise. Originally, there were only about 50 Best Buy stores actually selling Apple products and that was set to increase to about 300 in the next couple of years.
