RIM had officially announced the BlackBerry 8820 a few months back and now it is finally available with AT&T. As expected the 8820 has Wi-Fi (802.11 a, b and g with enterprise security features), built in GPS, Push-to-talk, Bluetooth 2.0, a built-in media player and a microSD expandable memory slot for music, photo and video storage. The BlackBerry 8820 also supports AT&T Mobile Music to include access to eMusic, XM Satellite Radio and more. The Blackberry 8820 has a full QWERTY keyboard with the “Pearl style” trackball and a 320x240 display.
It seems that the 8820 has been worth the wait, a great phone with Wi-Fi, GPS and a full QWERTY keyboard. The BlackBerry 8820 will be available at AT&T for $299.99 with a two-year contract and rebate.
