Asus reveals more info on P527

Asus P527

It looks like Asus is planning to launch the P527, which is set to accompany the previous model, P526. There were rumors regarding this new GPS/ PDA phone device, and it looks like the rumors were true.

The new Asus P527 features a hot, shiny, thin, metallic exterior, with a pretty decent sized screen. Additionally, it boasts a 2MP digital camera, Windows Mobile 6, FM radio, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS/GSM and EDGE. This baby is looking pretty nice right now.

Other bits of info include:

  •     Networks: GSM850, GSM900, GSM1800, GSM1900
  •     Dimensions: 113 x 58 x 15.4 mm
  •     Weight: 125 grams
  •     Display: 240 x 320 pixels
  •     CPU: TI OMAP850 200 MHz
  •     64 MB RAM/ 128 MB ROM
  •     TransFlash/microSD
  •     SiRF Star III GPS chip

No word yet on costs or availability. Hopefully some more details will be released soon because from the looks of it, it is probably going to be very popular.
