Apple, RIM take top honors for cellphone satisfaction, Palm pulls in the rear

ChangeWave Research recently surveyed 4,182 mobile phone users to determine their overall satisfaction with their current phones. With little surprise the numbers came in, Apple iPhone owners were the most satisfied coming in at 72%, following in at second place was none other than RIM with a 55% satisfaction rate. Running down the list we saw LG, Sanyo, Nokia, Samsung, Sony, and Motorola with Palm coming in last. With all the recent trouble we have been seeing from Palm as of late, their 30% does not really come as much of a shock. If any one company should have fallen in line somewhere else, we would have thought Nokia would have placed a little higher. Keep in mind, these 4,182 users were all from the US. It would have been interesting to see this done as worldwide survey, one could guess the results would have been very different.

I’m not too big on the whole cellphone thing. Why do people care so much about things like this? What’s the big deal? I just don’t get it. But maybe that’s because I don’t leave my house. I actually like to ask for the oldest version cellphone. The one that you just talk on. I don’t need all of these silly features that I’ll never use.
And yes I’m quite happy with my cellphone… although I don’t know what it’s called or anything.
