Yes, Apple announced the SDK conference will take place next Thursday. Exciting. But perhaps more exciting, came this bit: “some exciting new enterprise features.” What is exciting about enterprise? It could be the Lotus application we know IBM has been working on. It could be Exchange support. It could have something to do with Captain Kirk.
The event is schedule for March 6 at 10am and is titled, “iPhone Software Roadmap”. This kinda suggests we won’t see much in the way of completed apps or perhaps a completed SDK, rather the info on the “hows” and “whys”.
Is it a big deal it is not late March as Jobs suggested we’d see it? Do you think we’ll see Exchange support, AT&T already has an iPhone business plan? And what was with the lame bug-fix update yesterday? We are all scratching our heads at that one…
