In a second the power can shift. That’s exactly what’s being reported by some Apple TV hackers enthusiasts, as they no longer can use some of the features they had added to their Apple TV’s. It seems like Apple caught on to all the hacktivities, if you will, going around regarding the Apple TV and are taking the appropriate steps to rectify the situation.
The guys at tutorial ninjas are reporting to have had their Apple TVs reset overnight disabling some hacks such as the ability to SSH/VNC their devices. They’re quick to point the finger at Apple and say that they’re coming in and resetting everything, but others believe it is just the Apple TV running a scheduled reset tool.
If you think Apple is hacking your hack, change your password and deny internet access to the device soon, otherwise it may result in a network breach and/or a $300 paperweight.
