Apple employees beginning to receive their free iPhones

Apple iPhoneA few Apple retail employees have been reporting that they have received their promised free iPhones. It was reported that Steve Jobs made an announcement at an internal Apple meeting that any employee that had been with the company for a year would be getting an 8GB iPhone for free. The AT&T service will have to be paid for by the employee, but with a $599 phone for free I would not begin to complain about that.
