Adobe Creative Suite 3 - Production Premium: Now Shipping
Watch out, Apple. Adobe has an ace up its sleeve. A 1700 dollar ace, that is.
As a direct competitor to Apple’s Final Cut Studio, the Adobe CS3 Production Premium package is sure to make video producers drool. Included in Production Premium is After Effects CS3, a Hollywood-grade special effects application. Additionally, Premiere Pro, a video editing program, returns to the Mac platform after four years of Apple dominating with Final Cut Pro. Also included is Encore CS3 for DVD creation, and Soundbooth for audio, as well as the usual suspects (Photoshop, Illustrator, and newly acquired from Macromedia, Flash CS3).
Not satisfied? For those who just need every single Adobe app ever created, Adobe has the CS3 Master Collection available.
Here’s the long list of apps that are available in that box: Adobe InDesign CS3, Photoshop CS3 Extended, Illustrator CS3, Flash CS3 Professional, Dreamweaver CS3, Fireworks CS3, Contribute CS3, After Effects CS3 Professional, Adobe Premiere Pro CS3, Soundbooth CS3, and Encore CS3, as well as Acrobat 8 Professional software.
The price tag is not for the faint of heart, running a steep $2499; the same price as a Mac Pro (which is probably required to run all of those apps at once).
