Acer adds business, value family series to LCD product line
Acer has just added two new families of LCD displays to their product line, the Business and also the Value series. Both series boast of Acer’s eColor Management technology, Adaptive Contrast Management, eDisplay management and are energy Star compliant. Although similar to each other when it comes to the presence of Acer’s proprietary technologies, the Business and Value LCD families also have various features which are unique to each series.
The B-series, which is available in various sizes, was designed for professionals who are looking for ergonomics, solidity and long-term productivity features in their LCD. Plus, these displays were developed to sustain extensive daily use. The B-series is available in various sizes including; the B173 and B193 which range from 17 to 24-inches in size, the 19-inch B193W, 20-inch B203W, 22-inch B223 and the 24-inch B243W. These professional looking LCDs sport an elegant black color as well as black bezel and base design. Other features of the B-series include an adjustable display and swivel angle, dual input interface, 5ms response time on all and contrast ratios ranging from 2000:1 to 3000:1.
The lower-end V-series on the other hand are designed more for doing word processing and graphics rendering works. The V-series offers sizes that range from 17 and 19-inch 4:3 formats, to 19, 22 and 24-inch widescreen 16:10 formats. These displays can also be easily moved out and in with the special button at the bottom of the LCD that detaches the base from the stand. So, moving the display should not pose any problem at all. Other features of the V-series lineup include the ability to capture and reproduce natural and realistic color, contrast ratios ranging from 2000:1 up to 3000:1, 5ms response rate and brightness levels of up to 400 cd/m2.
Now for the price details, we learned that the Business series displays will set you back $205 for B173, $249 for B193, $229 for the B19W, $249 for B203W, $269 for B223W, and $399 for B243W. Pricing for Value series display comes in at $185 for the V173, $229 for V193, $199 for V193W and $249 for V223W.

acer is my preferred product compare with aoc, when it comes to quality and features. I hope this lcd monitor is affordable and available in my location.
