7609WU DLP WUXGA projector from Dell

Dell 7609WU DLP WUXGA ProjectorJust after having heard the shocking news about Dell and its most petite LCD projector, Dell has gone and done it again.  Shortly after its sibling’s birth, the 7609WU DLP WUXGA projector is introduced. With its astonishing 1920 x 1200 WUXGA Native Resolution, most people will find it hard to complain about not seeing every detail of the picture.  Operating at this resolution, it is approximately 56.7% richer in pixels compared to SXGA+ resolution (1400 x 1050).

One spec that stands out is the 3850 ANSI Lumens (max.) brightness level, which is well-suited for LCD presentations in auditoriums and the like.  This projector has both desktop and ceiling mountable options offering both front and rear projection features for each.  Plus, navigating can be done easily with the included laser pointer, which is a must-have tool for presentations.  If the power consumption worries you, I assure you that this projector won’t disappoint.  With its efficiently built features, users will not have to worry about power usage or durability because the unit’s lamp operates at only 300W and has a life span of up to 2500 hours!

Although it all sounds very tempting, the price for this unique projector is rather expensive.  With its retail price of $4,999, I’m anticipating that not many people will be able to afford it.  But then again, with all its incredible features, the price is not so shocking.  Nonetheless, for those of you who are interested, this projector is readily available on Dell’s web store.
