3Dconnexion Logitech Adobe photoshop cs3 nulooq SpaceNavigator 3Dconnexion, a Logitech company, announced it’s version of the Logitech NuLOOQ, dubbed the SpaceNavigator for Adobe Photoshop CS3 and Photoshop CS3 Extended. The SpaceNavigator device enables graphic designers working with 3D objects in Photoshop CS3 to simultaneously pan, zoom and rotate camera views and 3D objects.

The SpaceNavigator device is used along with a mouse and is held in the alternate hand. Users apply very slight movements to the device’s controller cap to simultaneously pan, zoom and rotate 3D objects. The SpaceNavigator device complements the preview of 3D models in Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended and is an essential tool for 3D artists creating detailed texture maps. In addition to controlling 3D objects in Photoshop CS3 Extended, the SpaceNavigator device pans and zooms traditional 2D images in both Adobe Photoshop CS2 and CS3.

The SpaceNavigator PE (personal edition) device has a suggested retail price of $59. The SpaceNavigator SE (standard edition) device has a suggested retail price of $99. The standard edition license comes with an unrestricted user’s license and two years of full support (Web, e-mail and phone). Upgrades from SpaceNavigator PE to SpaceNavigator SE licenses are $40. The SpaceNavigator device will support Adobe Photoshop CS3 and Photoshop CS3 Extended and Adobe Photoshop CS2 on Macintosh OS X 10.4 and Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Vista.
