I think all of us have used our laptops while in front of the television, and so we use two controllers: a mouse and a remote control. Now, there is a way to have two controllers on one device.
The Eizo C T-One is a wireless mouse that comes with nine TV remote control functions including power, channel up/down, volume up/down, broadcast switching, input switching, and even picture-in-picture. This mouse/controller has a range of about 10 meters, and operates on the 2.4GHz wireless band. One of the many things that I use my laptop for is watching television and movies. Fortunately, MSI has made an excellent laptop for media viewing with the new EX710.
Of course, the MSI EX710 notebook isn’t solely designed for this purpose, but it has some very impressive internal specs for whatever application that you’re running. For example, it has an ATI Mobility Radeon HD3470 graphics card with 256MB VRAM and an AMD Turion64 X2 Processor.
Swype: Changing text messaging as we know it

Swype, not to be confused with Skype, is a new and possibly revolutionary product that will make text messaging a lot simpler and faster.
Swype allows you to type out your text messages by connecting the dots. All you need to do is put your finger or stylus on a touchscreen keyboard, and “Swype” it along the word that you need to spell. In case you want to see Swype in action, I included a YouTube video that you can view after the jump.
FitBit Trainer keeps you fit, digitally
![]()
Why is it so hard to exercise these days? Perhaps it has something to do with the accuracy of the results. Sure, you could hire a personal trainer, count calories, but all of that costs both time and money that are better spent elsewhere. You might be able to save both with the FitBit Trainer, a tiny device that the user puts on their clothes, and takes down all the pertinent fitness information.
It was TechCrunch 50 that recently unveiled the FitBit Trainer, a motion sensor that can track exercise intensity levels, calories burned, plus steps and distance traveled. Apparently, it can also monitor your sleep quality as well.

An appropriately named company known as Gyration has a new Home Theater PC (HTPC) remote control that works with a little bit of motion control.
All a user has to do is point it at the screen, and it works like one of those popular air-mouses. You have complete control over whatever you watch on the Home Theater or PC thanks to Movea’s MotionSense technology. Not only is this remote unique because of the motion control, but it has a backlit LCD display that offers a clear view of iTunes or Windows Media Center by artist, song, genre, or playlist.
This Gyration remote will be available beginning next week for a price of $179.99, or $229.99 with a compact keyboard.
