Because that is their strongest selling platform where the majority of their hardcore audience is. I was under the impression that the DS was the strongest selling platform period. Is there a gamer out there, hardcore or not, who doesn't own a DS at this point?

@MB Another point to remember is that Nintendo could have gone the whole conference without saying a word about more DS stuff. Their press conference needed to be about the Wii this year Why?

All it took for Nintendo to win the conference for me was the announcement of Golden Sun DS. :-P

Ha ha ha. This list is great! For whatever reason, Project Natal didn't provoke anything other than a "meh" from me. I'll get Wii Fit Plus when it launches, but only because I don't have the original yet.
