Amazon logo In order to get buyers hyped up about Black Friday 2008, Amazon is holding special sales in the video games section leading up to the day. Today (November 19, 2008), the deal offers credits on future Amazon video game purchases when you buy two or three PC, PS3, Wii and/or Xbox 360 games directly from Amazon.

The deal is pretty simple. You select the boxes on the games you want. Once you’ve chosen two or three games, you click the “Add to Cart” button and make your purchase. If you buy two games, you will get a $25 credit on a future Amazon direct game purchase. If you buy three games, you get a $50 credit. You can only take Amazon up on this offer only once, and you can only buy one copy of each game you select.

The 20 titles offered (and their prices) aren’t exactly bargain bin cheap. Some are slightly discounted, but others are still full price. All of the games are recent releases and quality titles, so at least no shovelware is involved. So, the $25 or $50 credit might make it worthwhile for you.
