The built in gestures for Apple’s Magic Mouse may not be enough for some users, and there is currently no way to create your own through Apple’s software. That said, a new little utility by the name of MouseWizard for Mac will “... give your Magic Mouse two extra buttons, ‘pinch’ and ‘bloat’ trackpad gestures, and special features such as ‘coverup’, to make your Mac go to sleep.”

Appletell reviews the Withings WiFi Body Scale
$160 is a lot for a scale, but the Withings WiFi Body Scale does have a surprisingly useful (and somewhat addictive) feature set that helps to justify the cost.
Appletell reviews Sonos ZonePlayer S5 with ZoneBridge wireless music system
A nice addition to Sonos’ lineup of speakers and audio streaming devices, the ZonePlayer S5 wireless music system comes in a simple, one unit form factor that can be controlled through a free iPhone application. Apple’s Black Friday to be surprisingly bright?
The BoyGeniusReport received a rumor earlier this week that claims to have the details on Apple’s Black Friday plans. The rumor contains a “leaked” image that displays all the deals for the day, which include up to 30% off iPods (excluding the iPhone and iPod shuffle), up to 25% off… Continue Reading »
Appletell reviews Voiis Stereo Wireless Music Gateway [updated]
Mobile Action creates many great technological products, and the Voiis Stereo Wireless Music Gateway is no exception. This handy device is extremely useful for those with Bluetooth home stereo systems and headsets, as the device’s main feature is Bluetooth connectivity. Appletell reviews LaCie’s Sound2 speaker system
LaCie has been known to look outside the company for product design, and the Sound2 is no exception. The design seems to reflect a 45RPM record minus the label, or perhaps a giant pair of headphones. Kind of cool, really, but I can’t recommend speakers based on looks alone. You’ll… Continue Reading »

Apple’s Magic Mouse makes it to retail stores
The current word is that most Apple retail stores have received and begun to sell the new Magic Mouse. We reported earlier that Apple had started giving out shipping notices to customers who bought the Magic Mouse online. I haven’t actually gone to my local Apple retail store, but have… Continue Reading »
