On the online Archos store, for those of you living in the European area, you can now get the Archos 705 for 399.98 Euros, which is around $578. Some people have already gotten their hands on one of these and they decided that it essentially similar to the Archos 704, although, it does have some notable improvements.

Basically, the 705 has Wi-Fi and the browser and keyboarding capabilities on it are much better as compared to the 704. The system also starts up faster than the 704. Additionally, the touchscreen is better than the 704 in the sense that it doesn’t smudge as much, providing for better viewing.

The interface is better and is easier to zoom forwards and backwards or drag and drop. Lastly, the 705 makes it easy to multi-task, such as listening to music, browsing the web, and everything else it can do. This new Archos 705 PMP looks to be a pretty good one.
