Sony goes pink; delivers products in support of Breast Cancer

by Natesh Sood on Oct 10, 2007 at 12:01 PM

Sony’s Breast Cancer products

Since October, as you may or may not know, is Breast Cancer awareness month, it is only fitting that Sony decided to roll out some hot pink electronics. Previously, we have seen ATP and Casio also deliver pink products in support of Breast Cancer.

Sony has decided to throw three pink products out there, the first being a Sony Walkman. Sony is set to donate 10 dollars from all the sales of the pink NWZ-A816PNK Walkman Video MP3 Player. Secondly, Sony made a portable DVD player pink, the DVP-FX810/P Portable DVD Player is also set to donate 10 dollars from each of their sales. Finally, we have the big one, the VGN-CR290EAP VAIO CR Series notebook. For each notebook sold, Sony will donate 75 dollars!

This is so far probably one of the best Breast Cancer donations we have seen. As October rolls on, hopefully we will see many other companies do the same. Way to go Sony!
