Bright new Olympus 790SW camera

Count them! 8 full-fledged cameras from Olympus with great and cool features will be available soon. Keynote features include Digital Image Stabilization Edit (IS) and a Perfect Shot Preview mode.

From the top of the list, the Olympus 790SW (an update of the 770SW if you will) is waterproof, shockproof, freeze proof, sand and dust proof, and comes in a variety of bright colors. The hardy aluminum body has rubber gaskets and O-rings to seal the interior thus keeping shots clear. All the normal specs are there: 7.1-megapixel sensor, 3X optical zoom, and a 2.5-inch LCD. New to the mix is Face-Detection technology with exposure optimization, to brighten subjects. Shadow adjustment technology also eases difficult lighting situations, and the Digital IS feature boosts ISO sensitivity and shutter speed for blur-free pictures.
