Samsung SyncMaster 245BW and 226CW LCD monitors
If you are looking into buying a new LCD, you may want to consider this. Samsung has announced its two new SyncMaster series widescreen LCD – 226CW and 245BW. The 22-inch SyncMaster 226CW features a 1680 x 1050 resolution, 2ms response time, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio and 160/160 degrees viewing angle. The 24-inch SyncMaster 245BW has quite similar features to 226CW except it has a higher resolution of 1920 x 1200, 400cd/m2 brightness and faster response time with 5ms. The 226CW and 245BW retails for $380 and $550 respectively.

For the 245BW I think you mean a slower (5ms is longer than 2ms) response time.
If it was measured in Hz rather than ms, then a larger figure would mean faster.
Just a bit more education required maybe?
