Treo 755p now official
The latest addition to the Treo line has now been made official with the launch of the 755p, it will be replacing the older 700p. The 755 runs on Palm OS and Sprint instead of Windows Mobile. This means it has Sprint’s EVDO that we all know and love, even if it is slightly slower Rev. 0 speeds around 400-600kb/s.
The internals of the device include a 320x320 display, 321MHz XScale Processor, 128MB of Ram, miniSD memory card slot (up to 4GB), a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 1.2, as well as the above mentioned EVDO Rev. 0 and Palm OS 5.4.9.
The Palm-based smart phone not only sports a smaller form factor than it’s cousin, the Treo 680, but it also brings some notable enhancements, including; Google Maps for mobile, instant messaging, and Sprint TV. The device is available in burgundy and blue, and will set Sprint users back $280 with a service agreement. Check out the video after the jump, thanks to UneasySilence.

The 755 looks very cool. Is it still Windows Mobile-compatible? Will I still be able to use the “M” app from Mercora on it? I love being able to get my music wirelessly through my Treo (which I can do with the “M”), so that’s important.
