by Colbert Low Boon Leng on May 2, 2007 at 08:37 PM

Corsair Flash Survivor

Corsair has released its latest heavy duty flash drive, Flash Survivor which is built with heavy-duty aluminum with a rubber collar that makes it sustainable from shocks. The special sealing also prevents the water leak into the flash drive which could damage the data stored inside. According to the available information, they had carried out an in-house testing and the result shows that the drive survived in the depth up to 650 feet without any leaks. The devices also come equipped with 256-bit AES encryption.

The basic Flash Survivor has 4 GB capacity at a price of $60. Flash Survivor GT offers 8 GB and has quick read and write rate of 34MB/sec and 28MB/sec respectively at the price of $ 130.
