Microsoft and Apple join forces for Vista+iPod compatibility

by Robert Nelson on May 9, 2007 at 05:31 PM

iPodThe two giants have gotten together to finally release a patch to fix the issues that Windows Vista users were having with iPods. For those who were brave enough to run out and upgrade to Vista the iPod experience has not been the same since. Many users have been complaining of their iPods being corrupted when attempting to eject. Both Microsoft and Apple recommend this update for all Windows Vista users with iTunes, it will automatically download beginning May 22nd.

While I am happy to say that its nice to see Microsoft and Apple working together I am really glad that it is just for a quick fix.  Its nice to see them both working together for the good of the user.
