Ear Force D2 - stereo headphones for the Nintendo DS

by PJ Hruschak on Mar 21, 2007 at 02:52 PM

D2 headphones Turtle Beach, which produces audio peripherals for video game system and person computers, has released a new set of stereo headphones made specifically for the Nintendo DS and DS Lite. Besides offering stereo goodness to keep music close to your head (and not annoy your family or friends), the Ear Force D2 headset also includes a volume control knob and a microphone for games like Nintendogs, Brain Age and WarioWare that utilize the DS’s microphone.

This is far better than any ol’ headphones would since they take advantage of the DS-specific port for the microphone capability.

The D2 is currently available in black, white and pink, which match current US DS Lite case colors and retail for $19.95. Now you can get a headset to match your Starry Hello Kitty DS skin.
