Samsung K3 MP3 Player - An ultra-slim (.27 inches thick) flash memory digital audio player with a 1.8” color OLED touchscreen display, which supports MP3 and WMA music files as well as Microsoft’s Plays For Sure downloads and music subscription service. There is an FM tuner, JPEG viewer and function to create slide shows set to music. It will be available in March, 2007 in 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB for a TBD price.
Samsung also showed off their previously announced K5, T9, and T9B MP3 players. If you have missed these, the K5 was the first player with a built-in speaker that slides out from behind. It has a 1.7” color OLED touchscreen, FM tuner, alarm clock, JPEG viewer/slide show, 30 hours of battery life without the speaker and 6 hours while sharing the music with friends. It came out on September 10th, in 2GB ($179.99) and 4GB ($229.99) models. The T9 and T9B are capable of playing videos on their 1.8” color OLED display as well as MP3, WMA, MPEG4, JPG, BPM, and text files, and flash games. These models also include an FM tuner, voice/FM recorder, 30 hours of battery for music and 6 hours for video. The T9 became available October 15, 2006 for $129.99 (2GB) and $179.99 (4GB).
