PNY released a bunch of new USB flash drives at CES for the first half of 2007. They include:

• Optima Pro Attaché USB Flash Drive – enhanced for Windows ReadyBoost to optimize the performance of Vista. A ReadyBoost-capable flash drive allows users to boot faster and launch software applications more quickly—especially when there are already several applications running. Using the Optima Pro Attaché with Windows Vista, cache data is stored on the ReadyBoost USB Flash drive, which is optimized for quick random reads and writes. PNY’s Optima Pro Series will be available starting at an MSRP of $99 and a 2GB capacity.
• XLR8 USB Flash Drive – ideal for PC, console gaming, and regular USB usage. PNY’s XLR8 USB flash drive starts at $99 for a 2GB capacity.
• Micro Attaché USB Flash Drive – less than 1/3 the size of PNY’s compact Mini Attache, at only 32mm x 12mm x 2mm, the “baby” of the Attaché family will be available starting in a 1GB capacity with 2GB and 4GB following shortly.
• Secure Attaché USB Flash Drive – if you require your data to remain private and secure, the government-level 256-bit AES encryption, should allow you to safely take confidential documents wherever you go. Plus, the end-user can define the size of their secure and public partitions. PNY’s Secure Attaché will be available starting at $99 for a 2GB capacity.
• 8GB and 16GB Attaché USB Flash Drives –The 8GB Attaché will begin shipping in January, with the 16GB available by the end of the first quarter.
