Sony goes pink with PS2 and PSP

Sony has decided to catch up to Motorola and start offering its products in pink…afterall, how else are you going to get a girl to play video games? Starting October 27, Sony will begin to offer the pink PSP (pictured after the break) throughout the UK and eventually all of Europe. Then, A little over a week later on November 8th, they will launch the pink PS2. Now when we tell you’re they’re pink, we mean they’re pink. The device, the cords, the controller, the memory card, the everything… well maybe except for the game that PS2 is bundled with, Singstar Pop. The PS2 comes with two controllers, and an 8MB memory card…pink for course. The PS2 will run you £130 ($245), and PSP £169.99 ($320).
“The Pink PlayStation 2 is funky, fresh, and fashionable, and will further broaden the console’s continuing popularity and relevance with a fun new twist”.
We couldn’t have said it better ourselves…well, maybe without the word funky.

I am a girl gamer and As much as I would love to get my hands on the Pink PSP. I just have to say The Line “how else are you going to get a girl to play video games” just makes me want to scream. I can tell you that to get this girl and many others to play video games just give us a console or a pc and away we play.
